PMCF advises Ames Goldsmith Corporation in an equity recapitalization

has completed an equity recapitalization

P&M Corporate Finance, LLC (PMCF) is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to the largest shareholder of Ames Goldsmith Corporation in an equity recapitalization of the company.

Ames Goldsmith is a global leader in the supply of silver nitrate, silver oxide, silver powders, silver flakes, copper, silver coated copper and nano silver materials to the printed electronics, EO catalyst manufacturing, photographic and healthcare industries.

PMCF was retained by the selling shareholder to complete a comprehensive market valuation of Ames Goldsmith, followed by negotiating and structuring the terms of the transaction. The transaction closed on July 15, 2010.

Originally founded in 1860 and based in South Glens Falls, New York, Ames Goldsmith has been in continuous operation as a silver refiner and fabricator for nearly 150 years. Today, with an annual silver consumption well in excess of 85 million troy ounces, it is one of the largest integrated silver fabricators in the world.
