P&M Corporate Finance represented Mr. Roof in its majority ownership sale to Able Roofing. Mr. Roof is one of the largest residential replacement roofing contractors in Michigan. Able Roofing, a subsidiary of Crane Group, is Central Ohio’s largest residential, commercial, and industrial roofing contractor. Able provides roofing services including new roofs, re-roofs, leak repairs, maintenance programs, and emergency service. Crane Group Inc. is a privately held holding company, compromised of a network of residential, commercial, and industrial building and institutional products companies. The sale of the majority interest in Mr. Roof allowed the owner to accomplish several objectives: (1) diversification of personal assets, (2) maintain a meaningful ownership stake in the new combined company, and (3) obtain growth capital to fund expansion.
